本教材的编写原则按照高职高专的英语教学要求而制订,各个单元是基于常用商务活动的场景,以“经典句型与经典对话”为主体,在每单元中把口语与听力训练相融合,促进语言的输入与输出的结合。每单元包含三个主要的场景。每个场景的内容相对独立,分别由Preparation, Listening和Speaking out三部分构成,便于教师围绕场景交际的常用句型开展听说训练,有利于开展丰富多样的训练活动,提高学生学习兴趣。本册内容包含参加商展、市场调研、产品介绍、商务洽谈、包装运输共5个单元。本书共分5个单元,单元话题涉及参加商展、市场调研、产品介绍、商务洽谈、包装运输。每个单元包含3个主要的场景,每个场景的内容相对独立,分别由Preparation,Listening和Speakingout三部分构成。
